For the Love of Leaders
I witnessed a wonderful thing: leaders loving their worship time alongside the children. Singing and dancing is always fun to see in Kids' Church, but it's even better when the adults and high school students are moving and praising just as much. Something happens to the energy in the room, I wish I could can it!

Light up the world with Glow-sticks
You are the light of the world. A city on a hill can't be hidden.
Matthew 5:14 (NIrV)
Who needs candles when you have glow-sticks? After learning about the Great Commission (Matthew 28:16-20), children moved into small group activities.
They checked out a world map and pointed to where they would like to go to share news of God's love with others. "I would like to go to Colombia because I was born there." Also overheard were Mexico, Korea, and Antarctica. Then we turned out all the lights and passed the love of Christ to one another with glow-sticks. One child asked, "How will I know the right words to say?" A leader responded, "If you pray, God will give you the words." The child nodded as if she already knew this answer and just needed to hear it said by her small group leader who has already been on mission trips.
Population (approximate)
Columbia: 47 million
Mexico: 112 million
Korea: 75 million
Antarctica: thousands of scientists and researchers visiting from other countries
